Hamburgers

For the last two lessons in home economics we made two different types of ham burgers the first being a standard hamburger and the second time we made rice burgers.

For the standard hamburger we added tomato, lettuce, and cheese. For our beef patties we added onion bread crumbs and egg. Our burger was very colourful and the texture of the patty was a nice touch to finish it off.

For the rice burger instead of having burger buns we replaced them with compressed rice in the shape of a circle. we added the same filling as the standard burger, the rice bun instead if the bread bun seemed weird but once we tasted it it added a nice texture sadly our rice buns collapsed so it was more like a rice salad.

Texture: The rice added a weird texture to the burger
Colour: The tomato and the lettuce leaves added a nice pop of colour
Taste: The taste was surprisingly good but i would still prefer a regular hamburger over the rice one

    I agree the rice added a different texture but you had to get the rice well compressed so it didn't collapse. They look good in the photo.
    What other types of burger would you like to cook when we return to school?
