What Are Spirituals?
Spirituals are rhythmic songs that the slaves use to sing as they worked. When working they would work to the beat and this would help them work for longer.

Questions.

Females should be second to males in both texts and in the second texts they stereotyped blonds and that they are meant to dumb.
2. What type of social reality does this text portray?
People dont want to things outside of their stereotypes eg. men doing the hands on outside work and women stay in the house cooking and cleaning.
3. How does this text construct a version of reality?
Draws from history, finds examples of props and setting that actually existed in that timeline.
4. What different interpretations of the texts are possible?
Yes- we can view the shift from men being positive to being put down, we can view the shift in society and cultural values- there is more to life then house, dog and kids.

Creative Writing
My house was floating with me inside it!
Reality Smashed me down to the old wooden floor, and then flew straight out the door, Leaving me with nothing but my imagination.
My house is no ordinary house. You know how every neighbourhood has that one creepy house, well my house was that house. My house is the most peculiar house I have ever seen.
It FLOATS! It hasn't always been this way though.
When I was the age of nine I ran away from home and never came back. I haven't seen my parent since that day.

Tongue Twisters
- Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers.
A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked.
If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers?
Where's the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked? - Betty bought a bit of butter.
But the butter Betty bought was bitter.
so Betty bought a better butter,
and it was better than the butter Betty bought before.
This is a Alteration/tongue twister and when the readers read this sentence it is quite common for them to mix their words up or stumble when they read this to quickly.
Banana Choc Chip Muffins
Introduct
On Thursday for our last practical we made banana choc chip muffins personally I didn't like them they just didn't taste right now this could have been we didn't make them right or it could be the recipe I don't know.
The Make over
When we made the banana choc chip muffins Miss Hindson made a few modifications to the recipe for example Instead of using butter we used canola oil and we replaced the baking soda with baking powder, Instead of using just white f;lour we went half and half with white flour and wholemeal flour,We Reduced the sugar, choc chips and the quantity the original recipe was meant to make 6 big ones 9 medium and 24 small ones.
Sensory evaluation:
Our groups banana choc chip muffins tasted weird like they were off and the texture want all flaky and dry the smelt alright I guess but it wasn't my favorite aroma They looked golden and the chocolate chips were still intact.
Outcome:
Our group worked reasonably well together and we all participated in the cooking and the cleaning up.
The overall outcome of the banana choc chip muffins i Wasn't particularly happy with i feel they could have been better.
Goals 2020
