Smoothies

Last week practical we made smoothies we split up in to four groups of four and made different flavours of smoothies our group had to make a dairy free option and we named it cracking coconut the other groups were rainbow blend berry blast and banana breezy. Ours was really yuk it tasted bland and smelt bad and we didn't blend it properly and it had big chunks in it. Rainbow blend wasn't exactly the best but it was better than ours i feel it had to many flavours that didn't exactly go well together it was thick and turned out purple and smelt weird. The next group berry blast it was good but wasn't my favourite i think it was quite bitter and could have used something with a natural sweetness it smelt alright actually but texture was quite runny. the last group was my favourite banana breezy it was the perfect texture with the right amount of thickness and smelt really nice the colour and i really liked how they sprinkled some cinnamon which added a really nice flavour to the  smoothie.

Mac 'n' Cheese

Mac 'n' cheese
Last week for practical we made macaroni and cheese we made a roux sauce and we added garlic chopped up bacon and onion to our macaroni and cheese. the outcome was alright but i wouldn't pick it over any of the other practicals. Our team worked alright but i know we could have worked better we baked it in the oven which i didn't know that is  what you do with macaroni and cheese but i feel that actually made it better.

i think the hard part about it will be preforming in front of the class and im not really excited about anything i'm more nerves about the whole thing.

Steak Sandwich

Steak sandwich

Last practical we made a steak sandwich and we added lettuce tomato pickle and more veg when we were cooking the steak we added chilli sauce and soy sauce to give it some extra flavour.
I think our team worked really well and had great communication.

Solo Preformance

MY FIRST SOLO PERFORMANCE
For my solo performance i played Havana by Camilla Cablello on the keyboard i chose that song because it was an easy option I mucked up so much i was able to do it twice but still mucked up if i was given the chance to do it again i would but i would want to practice more and make sure that i know it better.

Bottle- Rockets and Planter

BOTTLE ROCKETS

for the past few weeks we have been working on bottle rockets which we then turned into planters.

our bottle rockets started as a normal bottle which we then hot glued fins onto before painting the whole thing. it took around 4 hours (4 periods) to complete but we got it done in the end. our bottle rocket was yellow with orange fins and i thought it looked pretty cool, we gave it a name which was fireball because my team thought it deserved a name.

when it came to flying it last Friday we used a wooden block which had an air pressure thing connected to it, we took the lid off our bottles to connect the pressure thing then pumped it until the rocket took off. our rocket didn't go very far the first time but because we knew what we did wrong we fixed it, did it again and it went much further.

After we had flown our rockets we ripped of the fins and the cone and cut it in half we then put felt through the bottle top opening and water in the bottom half of the bottle where we placed the top half on top so that the felt would transfer the water to the seeds.

We then put a small cotton bud over the felt so when we filled the bottle with a small beaker of rocks they wouldn't fall through.
Then we filled it with dirt near to the top and planted our radish seeds and watered it lightly.

1 week after planting the radishes they have sprouted
and started to grow.

In gymnastics this term I would like to learn to be able to do a circle up correctly on the horizontal bar.
I would also like to be able to do a backwards roll into a standing up position.

Peter Bence: Peter was born on September 5, 1991 in Hungary. He has covered several songs by Sia, including “Cheap Thrills” and “The Greatest.” Peter Bence is a member of famous Pianist list. Hungarian pianist who achieved international fame when he set the Guinness World Record for most piano key hits in a single minute with 765.
